Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to residents' call lights and provide assistance when necessary
- Help residents with personal care activities, such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene
- Administer restorative measures as directed
- Sanitize oxygen concentrators, feeding pumps, IV poles, and wheelchairs
- Help with transferring residents to and from seats, beds, and wheelchairs
- Move residents' personal belongings during room changes
- Prepare beds and manage linens in accordance with infection control protocols
- Arrange trays for self-feeding residents
- Serve meals and distribute water pitchers during mealtime
- Adhere to policies and procedures for infection control and standard precautions
- Receive training and perform various other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications :
- The following qualifications are essential for a nursing position:
- Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Knowledge of relevant nursing care
- Professional and amicable bedside manner
- Maintains current CPR certification
- Proficient at multitasking
- Strong oral, written, and reading communication skills
- Knowledge of legal implications of patient care
- Accredited training course certification
- CNA CPR and First Aid Certified(1)
- Nursing experience
